Our journey to buy a home started with Pawler Garrahan, from Lila Delman Real Estate, in February, 2013, where we met to view what we thought was going to be the “farm of our dreams.It could well have been, if not for...issues...(of course.) Our first mistake was to think we were going to buy the first home that we viewed! It was indeed a shell, but Pawler saw the possibilities right beside us. My husband and I worked with Pawler as our agent in purchasing a second home in Narragansett. Initially, she was very helpful in selecting a number of attractive properties for us to assess based on our needs. We then settled on purchasing a beautiful house together with an adjacent lot. Our transaction was, accordingly, somewhat complicated, but Pawler was not fazed by any of it, proactively providing references to helpful resources and following up immediately on open items, at all times of the day, through and even after closing. This extra support was critical given that we were not local residents. We went with Lila Delman because they have a superior reputation. We listed our home in March of 2013 and had an offer 25 days later which we accepted. We were ecstatic to get a wonderful offer so soon after listing our home and we give credit to Pawler for orchestrating it. Pawler is extremely personable. My sister and I first met with Pawler in November 2017 as we began preparations to sell our family home in Bonnet Shores. The property was in my family for 60 years, a place we summered and loved dearly. I had lived there year round for the past 26 years. From the moment we first met with Pawler, we felt we were in good hands. She was professional, knowledgeable, confident and knew the Bonnet Shores area very well and the buyers it would attract. She was the only agent out of about seven we interviewed who gave us a detailed market analysis, reviewing about 10 properties in Bonnet Shores and the surrounding areas which were comparable to ours. That finally clinched our decision to go with Pawler. She guided us through preparing and staging our home for sale. She conducted open house frequently. There were a couple of interested parties that she kept in touch with. Pawler kept telling us that our home was "highly desirable" and she predicated it would sell in the summer and she was right. There were three interested parties at the end and she negotiated with them masterfully bring us very close to our asking price. She also assisted us with the buying of our condo at Reynolds Farm in North Kingstown. Besides her professionalism, she was compassionate about how difficult it is to sell a home, especially a family home like ours that was located right across from the beach! We contracted with Pawler to sell our condo in Narragansett. Pawler is a pleasure to work with and a consummate professional. She immediately set out to arrange professional pictures which really showed off the condo to its best. After we accepted an offer and during the inspection process, Pawler really shined. She handled everything, which was fantastic since we were out of state. I have used a few realtors to sell properties, and not one went to the lengths that she did to sell our property. She arranged for handyman, electricians and all of the permitting requirements herself. We were delighted with the quality of representation that we had in Pawler.
