Tell us about your professional experience up to now.
While I am new to real estate, I bring 18 years of experience as an elementary school teacher, a career that shaped how I communicate, problem-solve, and advocate for others. Teaching required patience, organization, and the ability to guide people through complex decisions – skills that translate seamlessly into real estate. I’ve always taken pride in helping others feel confident and supported, and I’m excited to apply that same dedication to my clients.
Where are you originally from? Where do you live?
I was born and raised in the Chicago area, where I developed a strong sense of community and work ethic. In 1998, I moved to Rhode Island and fell in love with it almost immediately. Over the years, it has truly become home, offering both coastal beauty and a welcoming, close-knit feel. I’m grateful to live and work in a place that offers such a high quality of life.
What made you want to join Residential Properties?
Residential Properties is widely known and deeply respected, which made it an easy choice for me. I was especially drawn to the firm’s collaborative, team-oriented approach and its commitment to excellence at every level of a transaction. Having access to in-house experts in areas like marketing, relocation, staging, and client support allows agents to provide a truly elevated experience.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
My husband and I raised our four children here in Rhode Island, and we are now thrilled to welcome our first grandson. Spending time with family is incredibly important to me. In the summer, I love boating and playing tennis, and Rhode Island’s coastline makes it the perfect place to enjoy both. In the winter months, I enjoy skiing throughout New England and embracing everything the seasons have to offer.
What are you most looking forward to in real estate?
During my years as a teacher, I found immense joy in seeing a student’s face light up when a new concept finally clicked. That same sense of fulfillment is what draws me to real estate. I look forward to guiding clients through the process and helping them feel confident, informed, and excited every step of the way. Being part of someone’s journey to finding their forever home is incredibly meaningful to me.
