Residential Properties Ltd. is proud to announce the start of its second annual Project Snug Soles sock drive at its Barrington office. All types of NEW, adult, tall socks will be accepted – No ankle length please. Drop off any donations from now until December 22 at RPL’s Barrington office. All socks collected go to Amos House, which helps people experiencing poverty throughout Southern New England.
RPL Sales Associate Karen Occhialini, who leads the initiative, remarked at last year’s success with Project Snug Soles and the Barrington community’s level of commitment to improving the lives of others.
“Last year we collected over 200 pairs of socks!” Occhialini noted. “At this time of year, it warms the heart to see people reach out to the greater community and help people in need. One of Residential Properties’ core values is serving the greater good, and my colleagues are always finding ways to do that, whether it’s the Barrington Education Foundation Duck Race, the Nayatt 5K benefitting the Nayatt School, or the Bristol Santa House. We’re fortunate to work for a brokerage that understands how important it is to uplift the community throughout the year.”
Since 1976, Amos House has been working to help the homeless, unemployed, and those living in poverty throughout the area. This includes essential goods and services such as clothing, food, job training, and social support.
