Residential Properties Ltd. is pleased to announce that RPL Sales Associate Cat Horn has been named a Full Member of Barrington’s 250th Anniversary Celebration. The committee aims to unite communities across Rhode Island in celebrating our shared history, spirit, and values as Rhode Islanders and as Americans. Cat will play an important part in creating a comprehensive program of inclusive, educational, and festive events that look at where the country has been and where it’s going.
“As someone who helps people put down roots in Barrington, I see every day how much pride residents take in this town,” Horn said. “Being part of the 250th Anniversary Committee is a wonderful way to honor that spirit and help shape how we celebrate it together. The anniversary is a perfect chance to celebrate everything that makes this community feel like home.”
The 250th anniversary, or the “U.S. Semiquincentennial,” will be on July 4, 2026, marking 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the founding of the United States. The committee will be continuously providing news and updates on planned events leading up to the celebration in July.

• Reading of the Declaration of Independence
• Food & Music Festival (in partnership with Barrington Parks & Rec)
• Brass Attack Concert
• Barrington Time Capsule & Closing Ceremony
