Tell us about your professional experience.
I have worked a lot in the hospitality industry, where I developed a passion for helping people have a positive experience from start to finish. As a newly licensed Realtor, I want to take those relationship-building skills and apply them in a way that has a longer-lasting impact on people’s lives. In hospitality, I learned to anticipate needs, handle high-pressure situations, and juggle a thousand details while keeping a smile on my face. Those skills translate seamlessly into real estate, where clients need someone they can trust to guide them through the process.
Where are you originally from and what brought you to Newport?
I am originally from Serbia, and am completely in love with living in Newport. From the beginning, I could envision a future here because of the city’s vast cultural, historical, and natural resources. There’s also a surprising European feel to the city with its walkable streets, local markets, and appreciation for art, food, and music; it reminded me of home in certain ways.
What do you love about Rhode Island and the New England area?
As soon as I arrived in Rhode Island, I fell in love with it. We experience all four seasons, and I genuinely can't pick a favorite! I adore summer for its beautiful beaches and perfect weather, fall for its stunning foliage, and winter for the mountains and ski resorts just a few hours away.
What made you want to join Residential Properties?
A friend of mine has been an agent with Residential Properties for some time and has consistently shared wonderful things about the company. He introduced me, and I couldn't be happier here. I have an amazing mentor who will help me understand the flow of a deal from start to finish, and everyone has been incredibly welcoming.
What is your non-work life like?
Newport holds a special place in my heart because it's where I met my husband and where we got married. In my free time, I love traveling, exploring new cultures, and trying new foods.
What are your goals for your real estate career?
I am most looking forward to helping people find their dream homes! At the moment, I want to make sure I build a strong foundation for long-term success. Residential Properties does a great job of supporting you. The company also has a dedicated, in-house marketing team, so I’m working on building my personal brand through social media and local outreach. I’m also focused on growing my network, both professionally and within the community, because I know relationships are everything in this business.
