Residential Properties Ltd. proudly announces the launch of its Diaper Drive benefiting Tap-In. Led by Sales Associate Cat Horn, anyone interested can drop off diaper donations – sizes 4, 5, and/or 6 – as well as wipes at RPL’s Barrington office at 259 County Road now through May 1.
Since 1983, Tap-In has been a trusted resource for residents of Rhode Island's East Bay, dedicated to improving lives by combating food insecurity and economic hardship. According to the National Diaper Bank Network, 1 in 3 U.S. families reports experiencing diaper need. Safety net programs such as WIC and SNAP do not cover diapers, which makes the issue even more urgent. Without enough diapers, babies are at greater risk for diaper rash, infections, and other health problems.
“Tap-In stands for ‘Touch a Person in Need,’ and it’s an organization I’ve been working with for many years,” Horn said. “This is an incredibly easy way to make a positive impact and help fellow Rhode Islanders. Just stop by Residential Properties’ Barrington office during regular business hours and put your diaper and wipe donations in the dedicated drop box.”
Ian Barnacle, Broker Manager of Residential Properties’ Barrington office, noted other ongoing community activities marshaled by the team’s sales associates, including the recent Nayatt 5k benefitting Nayatt School and a sock drive for Amos House. “Throughout RPL’s nine offices, there is a community spirit,” Barnacle added. “This critically important Diaper Drive is just one of the ways our agents are serving the company’s mission to support the greater good. I’ll also say, from my own experience raising two boys, size 4 diapers are the best. They’re 22 to 37 lbs.; littles are in that size forever!”
