Read our Q&A with Michelle below to learn more about her journey into real estate.

Tell us about your professional experience.

My interior design studies and my career beginnings in kitchen and bath design gave me fabulous experience working with all kinds of people, from homeowners to contractors and architects. In real estate, I’m able to combine all my skills as a designer and as a sales professional. Home decor and gardening are passions of mine, so it’s a dream to have a career where I get to bring my full self and my love of homes to my work.

What made you choose to join Residential Properties?

After living in Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts for over 20 years, I was familiar with Residential Properties through friends and family and was aware they have a great reputation. I knew after the first meeting that it was the perfect fit.

What does Rhode Island offer today’s buyer?

My husband, two daughters, and I moved to Rhode Island in 2013, first living in North Kingstown and now Scituate. First off, Rhode Island’s smaller size is one of its advantages. You’re close to beaches, Boston, skiing in New Hampshire, and our amazing culinary scene. Rhode Island has so much to offer with our colleges, art festivals, historic homes, and landmarks. We pack a lot in our little state!

What is your non-work life like these days?

I love my community and enjoy volunteering regularly at my daughters’ schools, including co-chairing an after-school program, volunteering in the library, and participating in PTO activities. In my downtime, I enjoy visiting local coffee shops, exploring South County, especially Wickford, and love spending time with my family at home or driving around exploring New England.

What are you looking forward to, now that you’re a Realtor® with RPL?

Homes and community are important parts of my life. I'm excited to help others during the different phases of ownership.
