Residential Properties Ltd. is proud to announce that Sales Associate Samantha Mollo has been added to the fabulous team of real estate advisors at our Barrington office. Samantha is a native of Burrillville who planted roots in Barrington with her husband and children. Her love of the environment gives her unique expertise on sustainable building, solar updates, and energy efficiency. Now, as one of RPL’s newest agents, she’s excited to use all her talents to guide clients toward their goals.
To learn more about Samantha, we sat down for a short Q&A.
Tell us about your professional experience up to now.
I co-founded Atlantic Home Services LLC, an exterior home solutions company with my husband, and it has brought a lot of my skills to a new level, from finance and client relations to negotiation and marketing. I love homes and my Barrington community, so being a licensed Realtor is the best next step for me and brings together all that I’ve learned.
I love stories, so my time spent in Los Angeles being an actress provided a great outlet for my creativity. Working as a Client Relations Specialist for Exclusive Casting Studios, I was able to combine my love for creation with high-end professional development. To have fun, I took improv classes at Second City and Upright Citizens Brigade – being fast on your feet is good in any business! I’m also a certified yoga instructor which leaves me in a great headspace for my real estate work.
What do you love about the Ocean State or New England in general?
I’m an environmentalist, and in addition to supporting the work of the Audubon Society of Rhode Island, the Ocean Conservatory, and other orgs, I’m a lover of our natural resources in Rhode Island. Southern New England’s oceans, lakes, and nature preserves are so wonderful; I’m dedicated to making sure they flourish so that current and future generations can enjoy them. Living in Barrington has provided such a close, warm community. I’m so grateful to be raising my twins Bella and Joe here, who are both students at Nayatt School.
What was it about Residential Properties that made you want to join?
Residential Properties has earned an amazing reputation for being professional, knowledgeable, and downright friendly – exactly the kind of community where success thrives. With over a billion dollars in sales last year, it’s clear that hard work and dedication are at the heart of everything they do. When my friend, Lisa Duffy, shared this opportunity with me, I couldn’t have been more excited. After meeting with our office manager, Ian Barnacle, and seeing how smoothly everything operates, plus being completely inspired by the brilliant and dynamic Sally Lapides, I knew this was the place for me. It’s a perfect fit, and I’m thrilled to be here.
Can you tell us about your involvement in the community?
I am actively involved with my children’s previous schools and have volunteered at Nayatt School. I also coach youth soccer and T-ball. As I mentioned, I am deeply passionate about ecology and hold memberships and sponsorships with organizations such as the National Parks Conservation Association, the Natural Resources Defense Council, and the Sierra Club. I strive to make a positive impact both locally and globally.
How do you and your family like to spend your free time?
We absolutely love our sailboat and garden, which are perfect for family outings and moments of relaxation. Hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and discovering delicious restaurants are some of my favorite things, and I’m lucky that my family enjoys joining me on these adventures. You’ll often find us exploring places like the Providence Children’s Museum, the Roger Williams Zoo, or bouncing around at a local trampoline park. On date nights, we’re always at a new restaurant, ordering way too much food because I just want to try everything!
At home, our black lab/goldendoodle mix, Ginny, keeps the energy high and the laughter rolling. She’s a constant reminder of how much fun chaos can be.
What are your goals as you begin your affiliation with RPL?
For my clients, I would love to establish strong relationships and offer personalized service that lasts for years to come. I would like to be known as an authentic, loyal, proactive, and effective problem solver.
For my co-workers, managers, and brokers, I would strive to remain ethical, helpful, and dedicated. I look forward to contributing to the community together and hope to be a valuable colleague, as so many have been invaluable to me. Residential Properties is unique in how everyone is willing to help and collaborate.
For myself, I would like to stay sharp, innovative, and would love to be rookie of the year!
