Residential Properties Ltd. is proud to announce that Broker Associate Lisa Jones has been appointed to the board of The Avenue Concept, a Rhode Island-based nonprofit dedicated to fostering public art and creative placemaking. The Avenue Concept is Rhode Island’s leading public art program with a mission to transform urban spaces through murals, sculptures, and artistic interventions that inspire and engage the community. Since its founding in 2012, The Avenue Concept has installed hundreds of public art pieces while supporting artists and revitalizing neighborhoods through creativity. In her new role on the board, Lisa will help advocate for artistic accessibility and drive strategic initiatives that strengthen its impact across Rhode Island.
“I’m so excited to begin this chapter with The Avenue Concept,” Jones said. “I have always believed that the arts play a critical role in building a strong community. When I lived in Florida, I organized a community mural project as a member of the Minneola City Council. The project was inspired by the murals in Providence. It is one of my proudest professional accomplishments! As a board member of The Avenue Concept, I feel I’ve come full circle. I look forward to bringing all my experience and skills to support their important work.”
Lisa joins a team of distinguished professionals who are committed to expanding public art initiatives and fostering creative expression throughout the state. As part of her board duties, she will work closely with artists, local leaders, and fellow board members to continue making Rhode Island a hub for public art innovation.
