Residential Properties Ltd. is excited to welcome Broker Associate Linda Supron to our new Jamestown office. Coming to RPL from Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty, she began her career in banking. Spurred on by her love of houses, she eventually started her own nationally published firm, which she ran successfully for over two decades. Today, as a seasoned, successful real estate professional, she marshals all of her business, design, and customer service smarts to help her clients.

Tell us about your professional experience.
I graduated from Rice University in Houston with a degree in Managerial and Legal Studies and began my career in bank operations. After a year, I moved into the lending side of Private Banking and ended my banking career as a Vice President. Upon moving to Providence, I studied interior design at RISD and began my own firm where I designed and managed the renovations of multimillion-dollar homes. It was a great way to learn about construction and costs, as well as how to present a project visually. About 10 years ago, I was given the opportunity to sell real estate and thought it was a great way to marry the skills I learned running a design business with the financial skills I developed in banking.
What made you choose to join Residential Properties?
I originally worked at Mansions & Manors in Jamestown and then worked off-island for the last five years for Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. When Residential Properties purchased Island Realty, I was thrilled! This partnership offers the benefits of a strong Jamestown-focused agency with the advantages of a larger organization, including a vast network of agents, technological tools that are second to none, and global reach through their Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® partnership. It is the perfect combination for clients and myself! Additionally, Residential Properties is a very active community partner, which is important to me.
What does Jamestown / South County offer today’s buyer?
I have been in Jamestown for 27 years and feel lucky every day to live here. From the natural beauty and pace of life to the feeling of community and varied cultural opportunities, it is a special place. It offers a wonderful lifestyle to anyone who has the good fortune to live here.
What is your non-work life like these days?
Now that my kids are in their twenties, I have a bit more time to myself. I am involved in pickleball, yoga, and mahjongg in Jamestown. I have been part of a local book group for over 15 years and am joining the Quononoquott Garden Club. I also hope to travel more!
What are you looking forward to, now that you’re a Realtor® with RPL?
I feel strongly that one’s home environment is very important. A lot of emotions are tied up in the purchase and sale of that property, and my job is to make the process as pleasant as possible. I get a lot of satisfaction from guiding people through the journey, and making friends along the way. I hope to do a lot of that in the future.
