Residential Properties Ltd. is pleased to announce that Sales Associate Aida Pena has joined the roster of real estate professionals at our East Greenwich office. Originally from the Dominican Republic, she moved to Rhode Island at age 13 and made the Ocean State her spiritual home. After decades of success as a bilingual administrative assistant in a law firm and also as a brand ambassador, she discovered real estate was her true calling.

Tell us about your professional experience.
In my 20 years working as an administrative assistant at a law firm, I helped Spanish-speaking clients understand the intricacies of the legal system. It was very rewarding work, but I always had an entrepreneurial streak, so I also served as a brand ambassador representing renowned companies through firms such as MKTG and Havas Street. Along the way, I also forged connections with people from an array of backgrounds and cultures.
What made you choose to join Residential Properties?
I was drawn to the company's strong reputation in the industry and commitment to exceptional customer service. During my research, I found that the team values collaboration and professionalism, which aligns with my personal work ethic. I appreciate the emphasis on community engagement and sustainability, as I believe in making a positive impact both locally and within the real estate sector. As someone who came to the U.S. in her teens and knows firsthand what it’s like to discover our state, I am able to help steer any buyer relocating to the area. Having studied at Johnson & Wales, I was given a vivid look at the innovative, world-class culinary and cultural scene which continues to enrich our neighborhoods. Rhode Island has everything you could need to plant roots and make a forever home.
What is your non-work life like these days?
I am committed to achieving a harmonious balance in my life, ensuring that I savor every moment outside of work while nurturing my passions and relationships. I have been focusing on my hobbies and personal growth, dedicating time to activities that bring me joy. One of my favorite pastimes is exploring new restaurants; I’ve embarked on a culinary adventure and believe I’ve tried nearly every one in my area! Each dining experience offers a unique ambiance and flavors that delight my taste buds.
In real estate, it’s important to be at your best, so I’m also interested in self care content and discovering innovative ways to cultivate a healthy lifestyle. I’ve even started experimenting with new recipes, embracing the challenge of cooking. The thrill of whipping up delicious, nutritious dishes excites me, and I enjoy the satisfaction of providing healthy options for myself and my loved ones. I cherish the quality time I spend with my family and friends, creating lasting memories and strengthening our bonds.

I'm dedicated to helping clients find their dream homes and guiding them through the buying and selling process.
