Residential Properties Ltd. is pleased to announce an update to the annual RealTrends Verified list of the country’s most successful real estate professionals. We proudly recognize Sales Associates Jim DeRentis, Gerri Schiffman, Rachael Dotson, Christy Querceto, and The Sweeney Advisory Group, composed of Michael J. Sweeney, Ali Bazar, and Christina Rosciti, for being named to this prestigious list. To qualify for inclusion, an individual agent must have closed at least 40 residential transaction sides or $16 million in sales volume in 2023. For sales teams, the minimum was 60 residential transaction sides or $24 million in closed sales volume last year.
Nationwide, agents and teams in the 2024 RealTrends Verified rankings (based on 2023 data) had a total of 201,674 transaction sides (down from 233,330 last year) and sales volume of $110 billion, down from $169 billion in 2023 (based on 2022 data). Top-performing real estate agents closed an average of 192 sides in 2023, down from 212 transaction sides in 2022. The top individuals averaged 192 closed transaction sides and sales volume of $179 million, down from $225 million last year. The average sales price, which was $723,273 last year, was down this year at $544,299. Teams, of all sizes, averaged 603 transaction sides per team and the average team closed $357 million in sales volume.
In March of this year, Residential Properties also earned inclusion as a member of the RealTrends 500 ‒ an independently verified list of the top 500 most successful real estate companies in the entire nation. This was the 12th consecutive year that the company earned this prestigious designation.
The RealTrends Verified ranking report honors America's elite real estate agents and their companies and is compiled and analyzed by RealTrends. RealTrends a leading source of analysis and information for the residential real estate brokerage industry. This marks the 10th consecutive appearance on this list for both DeRentis and Schiffman. DeRentis again ranked as the #1 individual agent in Rhode Island for transaction sides with 87 and also ranked as #3 for sales volume during the year with $88,870,707. Schiffman ranked #7 in transaction sides with 50 and #5 in Rhode Island sales volume with $41,271,601 in sales. Dotson was #12 in transaction sides with 43 and #10 in the state for volume with $26,178,500. Querceto was #28 in the state for sales volume with $18,401,100.
The Sweeney Advisory Group appeared on the list as Rhode Island’s #4 Small Team for overall sales volume with $33,845,502 during 2023. Working alongside Ali Bazar as his Director of Client Services and Sales Associate Christina Rosciti as Senior Associate on The Sweeney Advisory Group, Michael J. Sweeney has now been a member of the #1 East Side & Providence Sales Team six years in a row.*
