Residential Properties Ltd. is proud to announce that Sales Associate Joe Napolitano has joined the fabulous team of real estate advisors at our Providence office. A lifelong Rhode Islander, Joe’s book smarts earned him a degree in cognitive neuroscience from Brown University, but his head for business and love of architecture and design made a career in real estate his only choice.
The science of advising clients
For Joe, the East Side of Providence is truly home. His experience as both a resident and a college student in this part of the city gives him a unique perspective that resonates with all kinds of clients. Raised in western Cranston before moving to College Hill and later attending Moses Brown, he has a wide network of connections throughout his beloved Ocean State. “I think Rhode Island is truly blessed by its smallness,” Napolitano noted. “Where else can you so easily spend a day at a gorgeous, sandy beach and be back in the city for dinner and drinks? To be able to experience such totally different vibes within reasonable proximity is remarkable.”
His first impressions of Residential Properties came from an internship with RPL Sales Associate Jim DeRentis. Not only did Joe learn the ins and outs of the business under a true force in Rhode Island real estate, he also became more involved with the Resi family. “I couldn’t help but be blown away by what a fantastic company it is,” Napolitano said. “This is due to the fabulous executive and management teams as well as the knowledgeable sales associates throughout the company. From the start, it was clear that this is a family, one which is incredibly supportive and inclusive.”
Educated, dedicated, caffeinated
A foodie and explorer of Rhode Island’s vibrant culinary scene, Joe also has experience working at restaurants in both Cranston and Jamestown, honing his interpersonal and collaborative skills in a fast-paced setting. Today, he loves time spent at Rhode Island’s numerous antique shops and letting his subconscious drift over a latte. “I continue to live on the East Side, at what I consider to be the ‘crossroads’ of College Hill, Wayland Square, and Fox Point,” Napolitano said. “In addition to fascinating history and rich architecture, there’s all the restaurants and shops I love. I literally keep a running list of all the bars, eateries, and coffee shops I want to try in the city.”
As 2024 approaches, Joe is goal focused. He loves all things elegant and stylish and looks forward to bringing this vibe to his personal brand, but his values as a person and professional are what will draw buyers and sellers. “At my core, I am detail oriented and analytical, but I love people and am excited to start working with clients,” Napolitano added. “My background is in science, which instilled a certain rigor in how I approach any task. I’ve also been called ‘a natural’ by real estate agents I admire, so I’m excited to put my instincts, my love of design, and my knack for problem solving into action for clients.”
