To qualify for inclusion, an individual agent must have closed at least 40 residential transaction sides or $16 million in sales volume in 2022. For sales teams, the minimum was 60 residential transaction sides or $24 million in closed sales volume last year. Counting all individual agents, and all the Realtors® on the teams, there were a total of nearly 102,467, which represents roughly 6.6% of the estimated 1.6 million Realtors in the country. Realtors on the RealTrends rankings accounted for 16.8% of all transactions serviced by Realtors, up from 15.3% in 2021, and their sales volume market share was 27.47%, down slightly from 27.9% in 2021. The average productivity of all individuals dropped from one year ago from 46.9 closed transactions per agent to 37.3 closed transactions. A team’s average productivity dropped substantially to 14 closed sides per agent, down from 21.2 closed transactions per agent in 2021, counting all of the agents associated with teams.
This marks the ninth consecutive appearance on this list for DeRentis and Schiffman. DeRentis again ranks as the #1 individual agent in Rhode Island for transaction sides with 104.5 and also ranks as #1 for sales volume this year with $108,474,550. Schiffman ranked #2 in transaction sides with 76 and #4 in Rhode Island sales volume with $55,817,329 in sales. Dotson was #9 in transaction sides with 52 and #13 in the state for volume with $27,938,600. Hasslinger reached #10 for transaction sides with 50 and #18 for sales volume with $25,172,400 in sales. Joe Roch was #18 for transaction sides with 42.5 and #30 for sales volume with $20,654,517, while Jane Driver was #51 for sales volume with $17,379,799.
Michael J. Sweeney appeared on the list as having been a member of a Rhode Island’s #1 Small Team for overall sales volume with $94,337,400 in sales during 2022, while also ranking #2 for transaction sides with 93.5. Now working alongside Sales Associate Ali Bazar as his Director of Client Services on his current team, The Sweeney Advisory, Michael has now been a member of the #1 East Side & Providence Sales Team five years in a row.
