Jessica has been a licensed Realtor® for eight years and spent her first two years working within a team, learning how high-volume agents manage their business. Raised in Massachusetts, Jessica went to college in New Jersey and then lived in Manhattan and Fort Lauderdale, but eventually found her way back to her New England roots.
Staying local
A Rhode Island resident since 2000, Jessica now lives in the Elmhurst section of Providence. “Rhode Island has the most amazing restaurant scene, one of the gifts JWU gives us,” Lavoie said. “I love that we live less than an hour from both the shore for summer swimming and the mountains for winter snowboarding.” She has come to appreciate the many nuances that exist from neighborhood to neighborhood and developed a keen eye for matching buyers and locations.
Jessica’s previous work in real estate was with locally owned brokerages, but it was Residential Properties technological savvy and impressive reach, married with a personalized customer experience, that made Jessica consider this career change. “Residential is the best of both worlds for an established agent,” Lavoie added. “They are a locally owned and operated company with national and international connections, not to mention brand name recognition within the market.”
Going big
Her homelife is as robust as her work life. Jessica is the mother of three children and has served as PTA President for her children’s elementary school. She also makes time to volunteer with We Heart Lives in community outreach efforts. This vital work includes providing newborn supplies to needy moms, groceries to low-income families, and clothing to children in need.
Jessica is excited to bring her enthusiasm to buyers and sellers with RPL and plans to get up to speed swiftly.
