Residential Properties Ltd. announces that Sales Associate Katy Tirpaeck has joined the excellent team of agents at our office on Providence’s West Side. Katy was born and raised in Little Compton at the historic Stone House Club, where her family ran an inn, restaurant, and banquet hall. She currently resides on Providence’s East Side, enjoying its variety of new restaurants and historic architecture.
Abroad and home
Upon college graduation, Katy moved to San Francisco, working in sales at a fast-paced tech startup. She eventually moved back to Boston, where she worked at EF Tours in a high-volume customer service and sales position. “In this role, I worked with parents and families sending their children abroad on international educational trips,” Tirpaeck said. “This taught me about how to provide an excellent customer experience while navigating challenging, even emotional situations.”
Growing up, Katy always had an interest in getting into real estate. In 2018, she followed that instinct and began her full-time career as a sales associate. In selecting a brokerage to work with, her top priority was an established reputation. “I joined RPL based on it being the most successful independent brokerage in RI,” Tirpaeck noted. “It also brings comfort to know that my clients will be fully supported by all of the in-house services that Residential Properties provides.”
Je ne sais quahog
For the past 5 years, Katy worked in Boston on Newbury Street with a variety of clients, including buyers, sellers, landlords, and renters. She is now back living in her home state of Rhode Island and ready to help clients looking to buy, sell, or rent. With her dog named Birdie, a rescue from Texas, Katy enjoys hiking through the woods, swimming in the ocean, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Aside from the state’s natural resources and innate beauty, Katy believes Rhode Island has a special quality that binds us all. She looks forward to tapping into these connections as an agent. “I absolutely love the ocean and how fortunate we are to have the coastline that we do,” Tirpaeck said. “Whether you enjoy the peaceful countryside, the hustle and bustle of a city, or the convenience of a suburb, Rhode Island has it all. It feels as though you can always make a mutual connection with a fellow Rhody.”
