Winter is a time when things tend to slow down. As the snow falls, roads and businesses close, and a hush spreads over our cities and towns. In that quiet stillness, immense beauty can be found. This season, our RPL Realtors managed to capture that beauty within their submissions to our 2022 RPL Winter Photo Contest. We'd like to thank all of them for participating, while also recognizing our Facebook community for helping us complete the very difficult task of deciding a winner. We always enjoy being surprised by each entry that is submitted, and it's even more entertaining to witness all the reactions from our community as they vote for their favorites.
I'm proud to report that this season's contest reached nearly 5,500 people on Facebook alone, with roughly 750 Likes, Comments, and Shares. After all that, only six votes separated our top two finalists. With that said, we're pleased to announce that the winner of the 2022 RPL Winter Photo Contest is Laurie Fletcher of our Barrington office. Laurie's photo beautifully captures the local town beach covered in a fresh blanket of snow, as local residents take their children and pets for a winter's walk along the shore.
