Residential Properties Ltd. is excited to announce that Sales Associate Wetherley Hundley has joined the superb roster of agents at our Cumberland office. Wetherley grew up in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee, where she developed an enduring appreciation for coastal living. “I love so much about Rhode Island,” Hundley said. “You can go from the city to the country to the ocean in less than one hour. I love that there are so many awesome small businesses and supporters of the arts as well in our state.”
Less Food Network, more HGTV
Wetherley began her career delighting customers with scrumptious treats as the opening Pastry Chef & Kitchen Manager for Rhode Island’s Knead Doughnuts. She also learned each aspect of the business, creating recipes, hiring and managing staff, and running the entire baking operation. “As the business grew, I worked at scaling up our production capacities to accommodate our four retail locations and several wholesale accounts,” Hundley said. “It was great fun, but I wanted to pursue work that didn't require me to show up at 1 a.m.”
Her time to make the doughnuts behind her, Wetherley was encouraged to pursue real estate. She had a firsthand reference for the integrity and reputation of Residential Properties from her sister-in-law, RPL Sales Associate Ali L'Heureux of the Leading Group, who has worked out of our Cumberland office for the past several years. “I had watched Ali grow her success and observed her experiences along the way,” Hundley noted. “I heard nothing but good things about Residential Properties at every step, which is what made me want to join.”
Channeling her talents into a new career
Married and raising two daughters, ages three years and three months respectively, Wetherley enjoys spending her free time with family. She rounds out a life of simple pleasures with active leisure, including yoga, neighborhood walks with her baby, and maintaining connections in local food culture, frequenting independent restaurants and bakeries.”
As the promise of a new year beckons, Wetherley looks ahead with anticipation and enthusiasm, making key decisions at her career kick off. “I am looking forward to starting and growing into my new role as a Sales Associate, building my career piece by piece with a great deal of love and intention,” Hundley said. “I can't wait to connect with more people in my community and to match people with their dream homes. I have a lot to learn, and I love a challenge, so I'm excited to see where the year takes me!”
