RPL Adds Sales Associate Mimi Whitmarsh to its Little Compton Office

Residential Properties Ltd. is excited to announce that Sales Associate Mimi Whitmarsh has joined the fabulous team of agents at our newest office in Little Compton. Mimi began her real estate career in 2005 in Little Compton with a parallel career at a floral design and event planning company. Over the last 10 years, she has also worked on yachts as race crew, logistics person, and chef. She brings to RPL practiced skills in working closely with clients and establishing valued relationships.

Roots as deep as the ocean

Living in The Ocean State and greater Southern New England allows Mimi to embrace all of her interests throughout the year. Her love of sailing resulted in her work in yachting and her many hours spent in nature have fueled her enthusiasm for floral design. “I am so fortunate to live and work in a place close to all of these beautiful and unique locations, Whitmarsh noted. “I’m pleased to continue to serve Little Compton – the town I grew up in. My grandparents lived here, and we used to visit in the summers until we moved here year-round when I was eight.

Mimi’s father bought Shethar Real Estate from Susie Shethar Whitin, a friend of the family. With the recent acquisition of Shethar by Residential Properties, Mimi looks forward to coming full circle in Little Compton real estate and bringing special insights to the company. My roots are here, and my love for this area runs deep,” Whitmarsh added. My history here and knowledge of this area are great assets as an agent, whether assisting a relocating buyer or a resident who’s selling. As RPL has grown, the company has built networking resources and the technological foundation to provide its agents the tools they need. “I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to join a team with such a wonderful history,Whitmarsh said. “Their record of success is truly outstanding.

A closer who’s close with her clients

Mimi enjoys the daily pleasures of living near her two grown daughters and a grandson, spending as much free time with them as possible. Licensed in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts, her simple philosophy of honesty, respect, integrity, and commitment have guided her business relationships throughout the years. Her mission is to leverage all of her knowledge of the area and her love of people to help clients find just what they are looking for.

When not deepening her considerable knowledge base in online marketing and negotiation, Mimi focuses on establishing a firm rapport with clients and associates. She describes this personal connection as invaluable in all aspects of a sale, from listings and inspections to closings and relocations. I believe in establishing face-to-face, familiar relationships with clients,” Whitmarsh said. “My job is to see them through each phase of a transaction. I look forward to sharing my knowledge of, and love for, this area and the industry with everyone I can.”
