As everyone is aware, Fall is a very special time in New England. It's a time for apple picking, pumpkin patches, hay rides, and hot cups of cider. People from around the country flock to our area for the opportunity to witness the awe-inspiring beauty that nature provides. Despite an ill-timed wind storm and a cold snap that cut the foliage short this year, our agents still managed to produce a wonderful collection of submissions for our 2021 RPL Fall Photo Contest. As always we'd like to tip our caps to all of the RPL Realtors who participated in the contest, while also sending a special thank you to our Facebook community for helping us select a winner. We love to see the submissions our agents surprise us with each season, and it's a joy to read the feedback from our friends and clients online as they vote for their favorite photo.
Thanks to all of you, the contest reached over 4,500 people on Facebook alone, with roughly 1,000 Likes, Comments, and Shares. Most of the time, our contests come down to the wire with two, and sometimes even three, photos battling for the prize. That was not the case this time around, as one photo proved to be in a class all by itself, leading the voting from wire to wire. We're pleased to announce that the winner of the 2021 RPL Fall Photo Contest is Theo M. Papigiotis of our East Greenwich office. Theo's photo captured the essence of the fall season, showcasing a gleaming red antique truck at The Farmer's Daughter in South Kingstown with its bed overflowing of bright orange pumpkins.
