Residential Properties Ltd. is pleased to announce that Sales Associate Andy Clark has joined the fabulous team of agents at our Cumberland office. Andy grew up in Monkton, Vermont, received a B.S. in business management from Keene State College, and afterwards settled in Smithfield, RI. He was raised working in his family's retail hardware stores, but always has had singular a passion for real estate.
A taste for investing
Andy has the soul of a New Englander and is always quick to extoll its many virtues. “I love the beaches, the changing seasons, and the overall charm of Rhode Island and New England,” Clark said. “There are so many things to enjoy all year long in New England. I love spending my free time with my family and friends whether it be relaxing on the beach or snowboarding.”
Since graduating college, Andy has worked in logistics and managing retail stores, which helped him refine his skills at catering to client needs. He eventually purchased an uninhabitable, foreclosed property, renovated it, and sold it for a profit. This first taste of investing led him to purchase a three-family home that he currently rents out in Providence. Andy now begins his career with Residential Properties, fulfilling a lifelong ambition. He looks forward to continuing the RPL tradition and sharing in the rewarding camaraderie. “Residential Properties has a great reputation in Rhode Island,” Clark said. “Everyone in the company that I have come in contact with has been extremely friendly and helpful.”
Catering to clients
Andy enjoys a well-rounded life in northern Rhode Island, having recently purchased a home with his partner Cam in Smithfield. Their French Bulldog, Henny, and cat, Norm, add a dash of mischief to daily life. When not serving clients, he hopes to continue exploring New England and visiting his home state of Vermont.
Among his many new horizons, Andy is looking forward to exploring RPL’s marketing technology, as well as enjoying the journey of homeownership with his clients. Spending time to map out his new career, he is particularly interested in building upon his already considerable investing success. “I have goals to continue to invest in real estate as I grow,” noted Clark. “I am excited to help others find the perfect house or investment property house they've always been looking for.”
