Residential Properties Ltd. is pleased to announce the addition of Broker Associate Justin Hetherington to the team of real estate professionals at our Narragansett office. Justin attended the East Greenwich public school system and the University of Rhode Island, where he graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in finance. An admitted “real estate nerd,” he pivoted his primary focus 10 years ago from residential redevelopment and growing his real estate portfolio to representing homeowners and investors in selling and purchasing properties.
Admiration all around
Justin’s clients appreciate his steadfast approach and long-term perspective on building relationships. He also brings to his work a profound love of the Southern New England area and its many charms. “Rhode Island in particular is a slice of heaven,” Hetherington said. “My wife Nicole and I are constantly exploring new parks, coastlines, and other public spaces with our Sheltie, Aida. It’s remarkable how much our small state has to offer when you simply remain curious and let yourself wander.”
RPL President and CEO Sally Lapides highlighted Hetherington’s strategic skills and the value he will bring to our communities, our clients, and the company. “We are thrilled to welcome Justin to Residential Properties,” Lapides said. “He exemplifies a true professional in real estate. He is creative, an extraordinary negotiator, knowledgeable in all aspects of the business, and a wonderful person.” In kind, Justin was quick to note Residential Properties’ hard-earned position in the market and its reputation as a world-class brokerage. “There is undoubtedly synergy here, joining the #1 real estate brokerage in Rhode Island by almost every metric,” Hetherington added. “Over 40 years, Sally has built a truly remarkable company. Its leadership stands alone with their deep knowledge and experience in Rhode Island real estate. I couldn’t be happier to join them.”
A running start
With his wife Nicole, a local architect, Justin enjoys his life in Jamestown. When not working with clients, he is a competitive ultra endurance runner, completing such races as the 102-mile Midstate Massive, the 2019 Coffee Milk Marathon, the 2019 Newport Marathon, and the 2017 Black Goose Marathon.
As he looks forward to this new chapter, Justin is enthused about continuing to bring his strategic services to clients throughout Jamestown, Narragansett, Newport, Portsmouth, Middletown, Block Island, East Greenwich, North Kingstown, and Providence. “My mission, as ever, is to be a thoughtful and trustworthy professional who will navigate clients to their goals.”
