Pawler was raised in Rhode Island with time spent building her career and raising a family in New York City and Connecticut. Having accumulated valuable skills at Morgan Stanley in institutional sales and at CBS News in news production, Pawler moved back to the area 14 years ago.
A supportive environment
Her journey into real estate began 12 years ago, serving clients in the Narragansett and Newport markets. With days spent crossing the majestic Newport and Jamestown bridges, Pawler rediscovered the state’s stunning coastline and other charms. “I always say I have the prettiest commute in the country,” Garrahan said. “We have a great deal of character and richness throughout our many communities. In addition to our culture, theater, arts, and history, we have the most wonderful restaurants. It’s hard to beat the variety of fine dining available in such a short distance.”
After a year of change and reassessment during 2020, Pawler knew she sought a real estate agency to join with shared values. A familial feeling
Pawler is family oriented, enjoying time with her two grown sons and a new grandchild. Though they live in California and NYC respectively, she is able to relish their regular visits back to Rhode Island. Pawler and her family enjoy quality time in all forms, from boating, strolling Cliff Walk, and attending yoga classes to a simple, relaxing evening at home. “I love to cook and bring people together over a wonderful meal and great conversation,” Garrahan added. “One day I hope to have more time to have a proper garden, but in the meantime, I have a great appreciation for all things beautiful.”
When not matching buyers and sellers with properties, Pawler invests in the community. She has spent many years supporting the Children's Miracle Network and donates a portion of each of her completed real estate transactions to Maria Shriver's Wipe Out Alzheimer's Association. Her nicely balanced life also includes enthusiastic participation in the local arts scene. These varied and heart-felt interests have allowed Pawler to connect with a diverse network of people throughout the state. She cites her love of people and eagerness to help as the driving force behind her success, saying, “I love working with my clients to help them navigate through to their goals – it is truly rewarding.”
