Residential Properties Ltd. is pleased to announce the addition of Sales Associate Kathleen Wilson to the excellent team of real estate professionals at our recently opened Newport office. Originally from Dartmouth, MA, Kathleen is a long-term resident of Newport. Her career experience to date includes 18 years as a high school counselor and over 20 years in the restaurant industry, allowing her to create connections within Rhode Island’s various communities.
A network of support
Kathleen decided to set a career change in motion during the pandemic. Real estate had always attracted her as a profession in part because of her ever-growing affection for Rhode Island. “I love living in Newport,” Wilson said. “The walkability and charm of our coastal city is exceptional. The historic homes, cobblestone streets, and the beautiful sunsets all add a character you won’t find elsewhere.”
When it came time to look for a brokerage to begin her new chapter, Kathleen’s longtime friend Sales Associate Marisa Ferris was quick to recommend RPL, having been with the company for over 10 years. “Maris told me she has had great success as an agent at RPL and feels supported by her coworkers and administrative team,” Wilson noted. “I will be working directly with Marisa as my mentor. I am passionate about working as a sales agent and am looking forward to meeting challenges for my clients, assisted by RPL’s infrastructure, education, and technology.”
A program for people pleasing
When not spending time with her parents, Kathleen and her boyfriend travel as often as possible. She includes being outdoors in nature and physical fitness as part of a well-rounded program of self-care. As a certified personal trainer, Kathleen is always willing to help friends and family meet their fitness goals.
With so many varied areas in Rhode Island to explore, Kathleen is excited to bring her natural enthusiasm to buyers and sellers, helping them discover the endless possibilities of property ownership within the state. “I am looking forward to meeting new people and making positive relationships and connections with my clients,” Wilson said. “I am hoping to help people reach their real estate goals and build the life and home they’ve always wanted.”
