Residential Properties Ltd. is pleased to announce the addition of Sales Associate Sarah Kirwin Brady to the fabulous roster of agents at our recently opened Newport office. Sarah is originally from Aquidneck Island, with both parents having grown up in Newport. She ventured away from home to study music at UMass Lowell, but knew eventually she wanted to settle back on Aquidneck Island with her family. She spent her college and post-college years working with local non-profit organizations, including Sail to Prevail and Infinity Volunteers.
Relatives and reputations
Sarah’s journey into real estate began over 10 years ago when she started working as Office Administrator and Personal Assistant to her cousin, RPL Broker Associate Libby Kirwin. Libby’s Newport-based company Libby Kirwin Real Estate is where Sarah found the opportunity to learn the business, acquiring her license and soon becoming a Realtor®.
Working with Libby has also given Sarah an appreciation for professional collaboration, which is one of the reasons she is keen to be a part of the RPL family. “Residential Properties has so much to offer their clients,” Kirwin Brady said. “Sellers, buyers, and landlords of Aquidneck Island will be very pleased with not only the company's reputation, but with their ability to back that reputation with an incredible team.”
Past and present
Sarah lives in Newport’s Fifth Ward with her husband Sean, her children Ayla and Harrison, and their black lab named Henry. When not singing at her local church, Sarah puts her energies behind ensuring a bright future for all of Rhode Island’s architectural treasures. “Being able to work in real estate and learn about the town’s historic properties is not only fascinating, but also a special task to help preserve its history,” Sarah said. “Growing up, I took the island’s beauty and history for granted, but its richness continues to inspire me.”
Free time is spent sharing the charms of the area with her children, but Sarah is now excited to share the delights of Aquidneck Island with her growing base of clients. “I look forward to being a part of the Newport office at Residential Properties,” Kirwin Brady said. “It's so exciting to be piloting this new office with the company and helping to define their presence locally.”
