RPL Welcomes Sales Associate Lisa Ardente to its Providence Office

Residential Properties Ltd. is proud to announce the addition of Sales Associate Lisa Ardente to the fabulous roster of real estate professionals at our Providence office. Lisa's impressive background includes the legal profession, with her practice concentrating in family court, as well as civil and criminal litigation. After retiring from practice to spend more time with her growing children, Lisa began teaching Latin at Moses Brown in 2002.

Familiar with the RPL lingo

A lifelong Rhode Islander with the exception of college and law school, Lisa married husband Paul and has happily remained on the East Side of Providence. She has been involved in many business transactions with RPL through the years on the receiving end as a buyer and seller. Lisa has consistently noted how Residential Properties’ agents are not only knowledgeable and honest, but also take pride in representing their clients with integrity. “Residential Properties has always been my go-to brokerage,” Ardente said. “They have played an integral part in the five homes we have purchased and the four we have sold. I wouldn't think of working for any other agency.”

When not enjoying the beaches of South County, Lisa keeps a finger on The Creative Capital’s thriving arts scene. “I feel so lucky to live in a community that values the arts, especially in the proximity of Brown University and RISD,” Ardente noted. “I love and appreciate the historic architecture of the East Side, as well as the diversity of culture that these schools foster in our community.”

Redefining home

When not spending time with her four children and one-month-old granddaughter or sharpening her skills in oil painting and knitting, Lisa and her husband enjoy home improvement. She often helps friends and family with interior design projects. “Ever since I served on the Providence Historic District Commission, I have been interested in historic homes and their architecture,” Ardente added. “I love older homes, reconfiguring and redesigning them to fit into modern life. For me, ‘home’ is a representation of myself and a safe haven for my family. It's where I feel most comfortable and where we spend quality time as a growing family.”

Meeting and connecting with new people is one of the special aspects of real estate that Lisa looks forward to. From helping a client buy or sell a home to meeting other agents and working together to make a deal, Lisa has tremendous anticipation about the start of her new career. “I’m excited to empower clients to envision and then find their ideal home,” Ardente said. “It will also afford me the opportunity to work at what I love doing ‒ making homes for families.”
