RPL’s East Greenwich Office Welcomes Sales Associate Whitney Hermann

Residential Properties Ltd. is pleased to announce that Sales Associate Whitney Hermann has joined the superb roster of agents at our East Greenwich office. Whitney is a second-generation Realtor® following in the footsteps of her mother, Broker Associate Sally Corbin, who was more than qualified to extol the virtues of RPL and underscore its respected reputation. “My mother has always been an incredibly hard worker who prides herself on doing things well,” Hermann said. “She has been an excellent role model and has certainly demonstrated the importance of top-notch customer service.”

Skills from abroad

Whitney earned degrees in Spanish from Georgetown University and Middlebury College, ultimately living in Spain for a total of five years and in Italy for one. “These experiences taught me to be more flexible and see things from a different point of view,” noted Hermann. “They also taught me to be more resilient and adept at problem-solving.” Whitney poured her passion for language and culture into a career working as a high school teacher and senior-level administrator for over 20 years. Her prior life and work experiences have provided essential skills for success in real estate, including effective communication, swift adaptability, and unflagging perseverance.

A proud resident of East Greenwich, Whitney grew up in Massachusetts and now holds sales licenses for both states. She has a learning-oriented mindset and seeks to explore and discover. “I love Rhode Island’s size, diversity, and beautiful landscapes, as well as the easy access to all Providence has to offer,” Hermann said. “I am looking forward to getting to know our state inside and out, as well as learning to use new real estate technology.”

Talents at home

When not planning out her career as a trusted home broker, Whitney enjoys household hobbies such as gardening, currently working on a vegetable garden. Her 14-year-old son is enrolled at Cole Middle School and shares his mother’s interest in movies, music, and their two ragdoll cats. She is also an avid fiber artist working in knitting, sewing, weaving, embroidering, and felting with great enthusiasm.

This same creativity and verve will fuel Whitney’s professional life, bringing to RPL and to each client relationship her unparalleled work ethic. “I look forward to serving my clientele with innovative solutions, a commitment to clear communication, and a healthy sense of humor,” Hermann noted. “I’m excited to learn more about the supportive training that RPL offers and can see myself taking many credentialing courses to feed my inner nerd!”
