
Residential Properties Ltd., Rhode Island’s leading real estate company, has been announced as a member of the 2021 REAL Trends 500 ‒ an independently verified list of the top 500 most successful real estate companies in the entire nation. This marks the ninth straight year that RPL has earned a spot on this prestigious list, but it is the first time the brokerage has achieved inclusion in the REAL Trends Billionaires’ Club.
Residential Properties ranked 342 in the nation for sales volume with $1,027,584,573, up 12.0% from 2019. This past year, RPL became the first company to ever compile over $1 billion in State-Wide MLS sales, compiling over $200,000,000 more than the next closest competitor. With 2,069 transaction sides in 2020, Residential Properties was also ranked 127 among Top Independent brokerages in the nation.
This year's survey saw the greatest growth ever recorded in the rankings. Closed sides were up 15.8% over 2019, while sales volume surged an astounding 25.9%. Numbers are documented by outside accounting firms and/or MLS reports.

According to the research report produced by REAL Trends, the 500 largest residential real estate brokerage firms in the nation closed over 3.9 million residential sales transactions in 2020. These transactions were valued at over $1.6 trillion.
