Residential Properties Ltd is pleased to announce that Sales Associate Abby Morris has joined the superb roster of real estate professionals at our Cumberland office. Abby has built a resume of sales-intensive roles across industries such as retail, food and beverage, and pet care. With exceptional attention to detail and an innate desire to exceed expectations, Abby excitedly begins her real estate journey.
R.I. to D.C. and back
Originally from Cumberland, Abby is no stranger to the moving process, having moved with her family in second grade to Maryland, outside of Washington, D.C. She then moved back to Cumberland in fifth grade, to Woonsocket during high school, and finally to Providence where she lives with her father.
These relocations made her appreciate Rhode Island’s unique interconnectedness. “I love how small the state is and how you're probably linked to most people in some way,” Morris added. “I also will never tire of the beautiful views we have, whether it’s the ocean or the woods.” Jamestown remains one of her favorite destinations, from Beavertail State Park hikes to explorations of Fort Wetherill.
TLC at RPL
Caring for people is part of how Abby moves through the world. Her dream was to combine her sales tenacity with this desire to help others, which is why a new career representing all sorts of buyers and sellers appeared to be the perfect fit. Of Abby’s friends and connections in the real estate world, it seemed the most successful ones were with RPL. With her licensing complete, Abby took the time to learn more about the company and eventually had a meeting. “When I interviewed with Residential Properties, they felt like the most caring group of people out of every brokerage I talked to,” Morris said.
Her giving nature is expressed outside of her career in volunteer work. She has donated her time to animal shelters as well as senior living facilities, where she has performed as a singer for residents. Abby’s sights are set on the future as she begins her new role with RPL. “I am looking forward to turning this passion for real estate into a career,” Morris said. “I absolutely love helping people and brightening their days ‒ what better way to do that than to find their dream home?!”
