It was certainly a long, cold, lonely winter. But with the snow and solitude, also came plenty of beauty to be appreciated. Every year, our agents battle the winter conditions to capture images of some of our favorite community locations blanketed in freshly fallen snow for our seasonal photo contest.
We would like to thank all of our agents for once again delivering on this challenging endeavor. It seems that with each passing season, and every new year, the quality of the submissions continually improves. In addition, we would also like to send a special thank you to all of our friends on Facebook who helped us with the always difficult task of selecting our winner.
The contest reached nearly 8,500 people on Facebook, with over 1800 engagements from our followers, including nearly 700 total votes. Three of our finalists managed to garner over 100 votes apiece, however, only one managed to break the 200 vote threshold.
And with that, we are pleased to announce that the 2020 RPL Winter Photo Contest winner is..... Stacy Rastelli-Antuono for her photo of the Gilbert Stuart Birthplace in Saunderstown, Rhode Island. Stacy did a terrific job framing this historic landmark, with its classic gambrel roof and water wheel on full display, and its red paint popping against a new sheet of snow.
Congratulations to Stacy on her winning photo for which she will receive a free video and website package from the RPL Marketing & Technology Department. See the full contest results below:
