Jane is originally from Warren and has lived in Barrington for the past 27 years, where she raised her four children. Her love of New England, especially the Bristol County area, allows her to bring a unique quality to her work. “What I love about Rhode Island is the incredible people I've met,” Rocha said. “You also can’t beat our four lovely seasons and the amazing proximity to everything from hiking and skiing to canoeing.”
A private dream
After 28 years of rearing her family, Jane finally honored her long-standing dream of working in real estate. “I’ve wanted to be a Realtor® since my early twenties and recently decided that I’d like to pursue that career,” Rocha said. “I always loved looking at different homes, decorating, and doing construction projects.”
What attracted Jane to Residential Properties was its enduring presence in the community and the positive role it has played for nearly 40 years. “When I think of real estate, I think of Residential Properties,” Rocha noted. “I’m proud to associate myself with an organization that values community service and the highest professional standards.”
A public spirit
A desire to serve in the community has played a significant role in Jane’s life. All four of her children attended the Barrington school system, where she has dutifully volunteered her time throughout the years, whether it was helping out with a class project, baking for a holiday celebration, or monitoring the lunch room. “I always felt like a valued member of the classroom whenever I volunteered in Barrington’s schools, and thoroughly enjoyed being there,” Rocha added.
When not spending time with her two labrador retrievers, Jane enjoys traveling and touring the country’s many national parks with her family. As she begins her new career, she is excited to get going and gradually build her client base. “My clientele is mostly family and friends at the moment,” Rocha said. “I look forward to expanding to other buyers and sellers who can benefit from my knowledge and love of the area.”.
