Residential Properties Ltd. is excited to announce that Sales Associate Robin Boss is joining our roster of agents at our Providence office. A native of Warwick Neck, Robin matriculated through Harvard and gained early work experience in New York City before moving back to Providence to join the A.T. Cross Company. Robin thrived there for 25 years, developing and executing new products and initiatives for the company, including its commercial real estate activities of locating, leasing, and build-out.
A focus on people
Her prominence in Rhode Island business has resulted in valuable connections and relationships across Southern New England, and an affection for the state that is unchanged. “I love Rhode Island because it’s home, and because it is accessible, beautiful, coastal, proximate, and full of surprises,” Boss said. “And because we have an amazing food culture!”
As a new Realtor®, Robin knew that selection of the right firm would be key to beginning a career of sustained success. Her discussions with real estate professionals who had worked for other companies always seemed to lead back to RPL. “Two very simple things drew me to Residential Properties - Sally Lapides and her team,” Boss said. “They are true, professional business people, supporting clients, agents, and the staff that work with and for the company.”
In it for the challenge
With focus and diligence, Robin is now developing expertise in the real estate field. Her prior corporate experience helped her nurture a strong consumer-oriented perspective, which translates to making sure customer needs are not only met but exceeded. “I often took on challenging assignments at A.T. Cross that required strategic vision, investment, and risk,” Boss noted. “Purchasing a home can require a similar skill set.” In the long term, she is keen to master all the tools that RPL provides its agents to best serve clients. “I’m excited to have access to a global network of professionals and incredible marketing tools, from technology to creative, plus a group of experienced agents with a wealth of local and industry knowledge that ensures buyers and sellers are well represented.”
Robin brings extensive knowledge of the state and its many communities and resources to her role. This is in no small part due to her considerable volunteer work. She is a board member of Narragansett Bay - Save the Bay and Rhode Islanders Sponsoring Education (RISE), as well as a trustee and head of the marketing and development committees for the Gordon School in East Providence. She is a mother of three young adults who attended four of the state’s noted independent day schools. Robin enjoys a balanced life that mixes tenacious athleticism in racquet sports, golf, and stand up paddle boarding with support for Rhode Island’s amazing local restaurants, farmer's markets, and food festivals.
