Residential Properties Ltd is excited to welcome Sales Associate Lauri Lee to the fabulous roster of agents at our Providence office. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Lauri moved to Providence's East Side in 2008 with her family. While specializing in Providence and the East Bay, Lauri works with buyers and sellers throughout Rhode Island, having acquired a special zest for the state. “I love Rhode Island's beautiful beaches, great hiking trails, and other opportunities to enjoy nature,” Lee said, “plus the vibrant arts scene and sumptuous restaurants.”
Optimism that serves clients
Amid the pandemic, Lauri discovered easy online access to the real estate licensing course, which enabled her to follow through on this energizing career change. She joins us after several years in freelance writing, working as an online book reviewer and a columnist for East Side Monthly. Lauri’s professional background also includes two decades in public and private education, which has given her excellent instincts when providing client support. “I tend to see the best in both people and properties,” Lee said. “I work tirelessly to ensure that my buyers find their perfect home and my sellers reach the right buyers.”
Lauri has long had Residential Properties on her radar. As a Rhode Island transplant, she experienced firsthand the winning combination of skills our agents possess. “RPL helped my family find our first home in Rhode Island, and has assisted with every move since,” Lee noted. “The agents are consummate professionals, willing to go above and beyond to help clients. I've been consistently impressed with the level of commitment to the community and the supportive atmosphere that permeates the company.”
Dedication - in and out of work
Lauri’s entry into a busy real estate market has enabled her to engage with many buyers in a short time. “I have several deals ready to close already,” Lee said. “Because of my prior experience in education, fundraising, and writing, I have personal connections throughout the state and am looking forward to helping them in the future.”
When not crushing it at the gym with her Olympic weightlifting regimen, Lauri serves on the Development Committee of the Rhode Island Center for the Book, a nonprofit focused on community enrichment through reading and writing; and the Community Outreach Committee for the Genesis Center, an education nonprofit for people of diverse cultures. She holds alumni leadership roles at both of her alma maters, the Holton-Arms School and Amherst College, and is a member of the Women in Leadership Nexus.
