Summer in Rhode Island is always a special time of year, filled with trips to the beach, refreshing cups of frozen lemonade, and sunset dinners by the water with plenty of chowdah' and lobstah'. Despite this Summer being very different from past years, our agents still managed to do a terrific job of capturing the essence of the season, while also making sure to follow all local safety protocols.
We would like to thank all of our expert real estate professionals who entered submissions to the 2020 RPL Photo Contest, as well as all of our friends on Facebook who helped us with the always difficult task of selecting our winner.
This year's RPL Summer Photo Contest reached over 6,600 people, resulting in over 800 audience engagements, including 300+ Likes. Tightly contested from start to finish, a total of just 16 votes separated our top three finishers.
Now that all the votes have been tallied, we are excited to announce that the 2020 Summer Photo Contest winner is..... Sonya DePasquale for her photo of Kelly Beach in Narragansett. Sonya's photo captures a few remaining surfers in the water looking to catch the day's last waves as a sunset begins to paint the horizon, and a full moon claims the sky.
