It has been a trying time these last couple of months. We have all been separated and isolated, choosing to remain indoors because of the risk to not only ourselves but also our friends and neighbors. Frontline workers have been risking their safety day and night to make certain that we get our packages and our food, while also ensuring that those who are sick get cared for and have every chance to rejoin us safe at home. People are working tirelessly to keep our community together and we are so proud of our agents have made an effort to help out those selfless workers and the rest of their communities. We would like to highlight and thank our agents who have stepped up to do what they can to help during these difficult times.
Kathleen Pierard, Providence: Kathleen has decided to combine two of her favorite things - shopping and jewelry - to benefit one of her favorite charities. Kathleen is hosting an online jewelry shopping event to benefit the Rhode Island Food Bank from April 30th to May 15th. 100% of the commissions earned are being donated to the food bank. The fundraiser is through Touchstone Crystals by Swarovski, whose US headquarters are right here in Cranston, RI. This means the majority of the jewelry is made here in the US, which benefits US workers as well. It is a moderately priced jewelry line, but with the quality and craftsmanship of Swarovski. The jewelry is nickel and lead-free and has a lifetime warranty. The link is: TouchstoneCrystal.com/VW33ILD0

Elizabeth Cooper, Barrington: Elizabeth is serving as an area coordinator for the East Bay Community Sewers, who have made over 10,000 masks for Lifespan. This RI community organization is still sewing masks for Care New England, local nursing homes, and others in need.
Denise D'Amico, East Greenwich: Denise and her husband, Peter, who is a Narragansett Lion, have been teaming with other Lion's Club members and volunteering at Belmont's Market two days every week. While there, they have been taking phone orders, shopping, and delivering groceries to vulnerable Narragansett and South Kingstown residents.

Greene | Sweeney Team, Providence: The Greene | Sweeney Team has committed to making a donation to a Rhode Island COVID-19 related charity for each and every closing throughout 2020. This is a wonderful gesture from a top team in the state who regularly close on some of the East Side's premier homes.
Lisbeth Herbst & Morgan Lowis, Barrington: Lisbeth and Morgan were involved in the "Porch Project", a neighborhood donation run by noted local photographer Julie Brigidi. Volunteer families would have Julie take pictures of them on their front porches, and instead of paying her fee, would instead donate to one of three local organizations. Lisbeth and her husband donated to The East Bay Pantry, while Morgan's donation went to the Bristol Animal Shelter.

Elizabeth Kirk, Barrington: Elizabeth and her daughter are among the over 100 volunteers for Rhody PPE making masks for health care workers.
Martha Lapierre, Cumberland: Martha has made multiple donations to The RI Community Food Bank and also the Cumberland/Lincoln Animal Shelter.

Barbara Stamp & Morgan Lowis, Barrington: Barbara and Morgan joined a group of local Bristol real estate agents to provide meals and masks for seniors. The 1500 meals were made up of goods from local businesses, and along with masks were donated to Benjamin Church Manor. In addition to this, Barbara is also delivering meals and flowers to elders in her neighborhood.

In addition to these fine agents, we would once again like to thank Ellen Kasle and Jeff Lima, whose efforts were recently featured on our Instagram page (@ResProp) and our Facebook page (Facebook.com/ResidentialProperties). Ellen has been sewing masks and providing them not only those in need, but her fellow agents, and our marketing team. Jeff spearheaded ResProp supplying healthcare workers on the frontline with food, supplying them with nourishment, and giving them a welcome surprise.
