The Cumberland Youth Commission would like to invite everyone to donate to their toiletry drive. This drive has been organized by the CYC, which works to promote leadership amongst local teens and children. This toiletry drive was the idea of the members who are working hard to make it a success. The CYC works with the Mayor, Town Council, and the Director of the OCYL to help get kids involved in local civics and enrich the lives of the community. The CYC is collecting toiletry donations in order to create bags they can hand out to the homeless. These bags will provide basic needs for the less fortunate neighbors. They would love to create as many bags as possible so they can give to as many people in need as possible. The items they are looking for are basic everyday needs the less fortunate can not afford. All donated items must be new and unused:
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Floss
- Soap
- Deodorant
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Combs
- Sunscreen
- Chapstick
- Tampons/Pads
- Socks
- Hand Sanitizer
- Non-perishable snacks
