On International Women’s Day, we thought it would be nice to bring to the public’s attention an amazing event that is honoring one of Residential Properties’ “Founding Mothers.” Liz Chace was a founding member of Residential Properties when the company first opened its doors in 1981 and was a strong influence in growing what was then an all-women company until her retirement in 1997. Since then, Liz has continued to inspire young girls and women and has been a staunch supporter of Sophia Academy’s mission to “change the lives of girls from low-income homes through an empowering middle school education”.
On Thursday, May 10th Sophia Academy will honor Liz Chace at their 2018 Women of Wisdom Gala. The event will begin at 5:30 PM with a VIP reception and continue with a speaking program and auction before the celebration and dinner at 7:30 PM. The entire gala will take place at the WaterFire Arts Center at 475 Valley Street in Providence. To honor and support this great woman and organization you can donate to the Sophia Academy.
