2017 RPL Winter Photo Contest Results

Now in its  10th year of existence, the RPL Photo Contest has  always served as the perfect  vehicle for capturing the essence of our beautiful state as  we enjoy  the annual procession  of the seasons.  The 2017 RPL Winter Photo Contest continued this legacy, as our agents entered a terrific collection of submissions showcasing familiar local destinations covered by a blanket of freshly fallen snow. As always, I’d like to thank everyone who made this season’s contest such a success, including everyone who entered a submission, each of our six finalists, and most of all, our friends on Facebook who took the time to submit their  vote and share the contest with family and friends. With your help, this year’s winter  contest was viewed by  over 5,000 people, receiving 42  shares and a total of 364  votes. While all of our finalists deserve praise, two particular photos separated themselves from the pack, each receiving over 115 votes. These two entries kept pace with each other throughout a busy weekend of public voting, but when the dust finally settled and all the votes were tallied, only one would emerge as the winner. We’re proud to announce that the winner of the 2017 RPL Winter  Photo Contest is India Point  Sunset by Cumberland Sales Associate Kimberly Horvath. Kimberly's photo captured snow covered trees and wintery docks set before a radiating pink and orange sunset reflecting off the waters of the Providence Harbor. Congratulations to Kimberly  who will receive a free property video and website as her contest prize.
