Make Your Halloween A Ghoulish Good Time

It's that time of year again! Time to carve some pumpkins, grab some candy, put on a costume and get ready for a ghoulish good time.

Haunted Tunnel, Pawtucket

Slater Park Haunted Tunnel Head over to Slater Memorial Park for a spooky tour through the  Haunted Tunnel  running  Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29 from 6:30-9pm. The Tunnel is recommended for guests 12 and older, while the younger crowd is welcome to the family-friendly Jack-o-Lantern Village  happening at the same time. Pre-school children visiting the Village are free!  

RI Scarecrow Festival and Oz Fun Run, Johnston

RI Scarecrow Festival The first annual Rhode Island Scarecrow Festival and Oz Fun Run has something for everyone! Head over to Johnston Memorial Park on Saturday, October 29 for a scarecrow contest, pumpkin racing, a craft fair, a Wizard of Oz themed fun run, and more. Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Dysautonomia Support Network.  

Common Burying Ground Tour, Newport

Newport Common Burying Ground Want to explore a cemetery, but not too interested in going at night? That's okay,  Newport History Tours is hosting a tour of the  Common Burying Ground at 11am on Saturday, October 29.  

Creepy Critters, Providence

HANDSONHALLOWEENFUNYAY Are most Halloween events too spooky for the little ones? Head over to the Providence Children's Museum and see their Creepy Critters! Kids will see creepy crawlies  and slithering snakes up close. This event is on Saturday, October 29 from 12-2pm.  

Horribles Parade, North Kingstown

Horribles Parade Time for a parade! Get on  your spookiest costume and head over to the Horribles Parade through Wickford Village. Kids and pets are welcome too. The parade starts Saturday, October 29 at 12pm and is followed by entertainment and trick-or-treating at participating village businesses.  

Warwick Ghost Tour, Warwick

ghost-tour Are you afraid of ghosts? Warwick Ghost Tours  might make you afraid! Head over to Warwick City Hall where Paranormal Investigators will lead you through the building which has been known for paranormal activity. Tours are held on Saturday, October 29 at 7, 8, and 9pm.  

Boo Bash, Providence

Boo Bash If you can't make Creepy Critters, also at the Providence Children's Museum is Boo Bash! On Sunday, October 30 from 11am-2pm kids can dress up, play games,  do arts and crafts, be a mad scientist, and more.  

Scary Acres, Cranston

scary acres ri Known as the "Scariest Haunt in Rhode Island," Confreda Scary Acres brings guests on a  hayride along a haunted trail where zombies and werewolves are lurking. Guests can also brave a haunted corn maze and a “Fun House of Fears.” Event runs nightly until October 30 from 7-10pm.  

Field of Screams, West Greenwich

zombie paintball Shoot some zombies at Field of Screams! Head over to Big John Leyden’s Tree Farm for a Dungeon of Doom, Dead River Haunted Hayride, and a 4-D Cirque Du Souls. Event runs nightly until Monday, October 31 from 6:30-10pm.  

Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular, Providence

JackolanternRWZ_blog6 It's not Halloween without the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular! Grab some hot cider and check out their display of 5,000 illuminated jack-o-lanterns along the Wetlands Trail. The event runs until Sunday, November 6 and weekend tickets are only available online this year.
