Summer in Rhode Island is always a special time of year, attracting flocks of tourists to come and visit our sandy beaches, dine at our seaside restaurants, and cool off with cups of refreshing Del's Lemonade. The RPL Summer Photo Contest aims to capture the essence of the season through stunning snapshots of some of the state's most popular destinations. A well-deserved thank you goes out to all of those who participated in this year's contest, including everyone who entered a photo, submitted a vote, or shared the contest with their friends and family on social media. With your help, the contest was a huge success, reaching an audience of over 8,200 people on Facebook while resulting in more than 350 votes. Each of our finalists received over 20 votes, but one particular photo garnered more than 44% of the final tally. I’m proud to announce that the winning photo for the 2016 RPL Summer Photo Contest is Narragansett Beach Sunset by Narragansett Sales Associate, Dana Zangari. Dana's photo captured a perfectly-posed seagull surrounded by the breathtaking colors of a Rhode Island summer sunset reflecting off the glossy shore. This photo encapsulates the beauty of the season and earned over 150 votes - more than twice as many as any other finalist. As a result of winning the contest, Dana will receive a free property website and video, while also having her photo displayed on the ResidentialProperties.com home page slideshow.
