2016 RPL Spring Photo Contest Results

Springtime in Rhode Island can mean many different things to many different people. For some it signals a return to gardening and planting, to others it means the start of a new baseball season and trips to McCoy Stadium, while to many more it marks the time for picnics in the park or bike rides  along the state's sandy shores. The RPL Spring Photo Contest has always been a wonderful vehicle for showcasing the many sides of springtime in the Ocean State. We would like to thank all of you  who participated this year, including anyone who entered a  photo, submitted a vote, or shared the contest with their friends and family on social media. This year's contest was a huge success, reaching an audience of over 5,500 people on Facebook while resulting in nearly 250 votes. Each of our finalists received double-digit votes, but in the end, one photo stood out as the clear winner. I'm proud to announce that the winning photo for the 2016 RPL Spring Photo Contest is  Beavertail Lighthouse by Narragansett Sales Associate, Mary Ann Lisi. This is Mary Ann's second straight Spring Photo Contest victory, capturing last year's contest with her shot  of the Jamestown Windmill. This year, her unique angle of the Beavertail Lighthouse earned 76 votes, over 43% more than the next closest competitor. As a result, Mary Ann will receive a free property website and video, while also having her photo displayed on the ResidentialProperties.com home page slideshow. Congratulations Mary Ann!
