This Saturday, August 22 the Trinity Repertory Company will be hosting Rhode Island’s first-ever statewide performing arts kickoff event. The celebration is free and open to the public, and will be held at Trinity Rep’s Chace Theater (201 Washington Street, Providence) from 12-6pm. Performances from theater artists across the state will occur throughout the day inside Chace Theater, as well as on the outdoor stage in Adrian Hall Way. Attendees will receive a sneak peek of upcoming fall and winter shows from a wide variety of Rhode Island venues. The event will also showcase an outdoor tape art installation, while local food trucks will supply food and refreshments. In addition, there will be a behind-the-scenes tour of Trinity Rep, as well as a raffle for tickets to upcoming shows.
