Easy Entertaining Valentine's Cooking Class

The Cafe at Easy Entertaining Inc. is hosting a cooking class on February 9th from 6-7pm to teach participants a few tasty recipes to help make their Valentine's Day dinner special. Simone’s Cooking Class “Make Your Valentine Dinner!”

Simone’s in Warren is offering a Valentine’s Day cooking class on February 9th from 6:30-9pm. Participants will learn to make a variety of dishes like Baked Oysters with Spinach and Pernod and Sauteed Duck Breast with Tamarind Leeks and Champagne Risotto. The fee is $50 per person and also includes recipes, wine and food tasting. There is limited enrollment, so call 401-247-1200 to reserve a spot.

Brix Restaurant Valentines Weekend

Brix Restaurant in Middletown is hosting a Valentines Weekend from February 13th-15th. Brix features a special 3-course wine pairing menu just for the weekend. The Valanetines Menu is $45 per person, and $5 off with a Newport Winterfest button. To make reservations, call 401-848-5161 Ext. 2.

Go Dancing in Red

On February 6th, Common Fence Point Community Hall in Portsmouth is hosting a social ballroom dancing event benefitting the American Heart Association and Go Red For Women.
