Residential Properties Ltd. (RPL) is proud to sponsor “Southlight,” a lighting installation project presented by The Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) at Grace Church Cemetery on February 6th & 7th at 6pm. The event is free to the public and will include complimentary refreshments, family friendly activities, music, and an interactive light display. Grace Church Cemetery, located at the intersection of Broad Street and Elmwood Avenue in South Providence, has been an active burial ground for over 150 years. However, due to a lack of funds for maintenance, the nine-acre cemetery has recently become a victim of litter, abuse, and neglect. The Southlight event is a RISD Urban Interventions project, focusing on cleaning up and revitalizing the cemetery. The goal of the event is “connecting the past, present, and future to bring together the memories of the cemetery and the future of the community through the enlighten trees.” As Rhode Island’s largest independent real estate company, RPL has always been an active supporter of local communities, and is proud to sponsor this event.
