Giving Thanks

I always take some time to reflect on what I am grateful for at this time of year, as do many Americans. So many people lost so much after the market crashed in 2007 that it looked like we would never start to see signs of recovery, but lately there have been plenty of positive economic indicators to offer a bit of hope for the continued growth   of the housing market. In 1981,   another gloomy time in Real Estate,   my business partner Liz Chace and I decided to open up a brokerage that was completely different than any of our competitors,   everyone thought we were crazy,   the market was sluggish and interest rates were 18%.   Now 31 years later, we have been through several market cycles and we have withstood them all and have managed to become   the largest independent Real estate Brokerage in the state.   I could not be more thankful for all of the wonderful things that have happened through the years. From the original 6 brave agents who took the risk with us, we now have over 150 of the best agents in the state. I am most grateful for all of the incredible women and men who have helped make the company so successful, and to all of the loyal clients and friends who have supported us through the years. I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving.
