We love Instagram! It’s truly a perfect medium for the real estate industry. If you’re not familiar with the application, it is a mobile app that provides a quick and easy way to share beautiful photography. Instagram was recently acquired by Facebook for $1 Billion and is available on both the iPhone and Android platforms. Mobile has had a significant impact not only on the real estate industry but how we live our lives. We debuted the photo contest four years ago in the fall of 2008. It’s been an amazing experience to witness the popularity and growth of mobile computing during this time period. The number of photographs snapped on a smartphone and submitted to our seasonal photo contest is growing exponentially. We had a handful of Instagram photos submitted to this fall’s contest. Although the photos were not selected as finalists, they were fantastic shots. So, we decided to add the top seven photographs from the contest to our Instagram account. Hope you enjoy them as much as we do. Winning Photo: Historic Slater Mill in Pawtucket, Rhode Island – Rich Epstein
