A University of Oregon graduate with a degree in Finance and Real Estate, Mark owned a high-end residential design/build firm in New Canaan, Connecticut for 20 years. During that period, he purchased and sold properties on an ongoing basis and developed a solid foundation in the principles of construction as well as the principles of negotiation.

An Associate Broker, he's committed to using his experience to advance the real estate objectives of his clients and to ensure that the experience of buying or selling a home is both enriching and satisfying. In addition to his membership in the Rhode Island Statewide MLS, Newport County Board of Realtors®, RI Association of Realtors®, and National Association of Realtors®, Mark is a board member of the East Passage Lot Owners Association in Jamestown and a board member of the Jamestown Rotary Club.

He and his wife, Carol Grayson, a professional photographer, have lived in Jamestown since 2005. Their love of the Island is reflected in Carol's photography, which brilliantly captures the Island's landscape and beauty. Mark has a private pilot's license, enjoys running, boating and gardening. His passions include renewable energy and electric vehicle technology. He's a student of human relationships and he and Carol have conducted several relationship workshops. He's completed the Wainwright House's Receptive Listening Program and Landmark Education's Curriculum for Living.
