I've been in real estate and loving it since 1988. After retiring from teaching it became my full time career. I have sold, listed, and rented properties having worked with several agencies, most recently joining Residential Properties Ltd. - Rhode Island's leading brokerage.
Since I grew up and always lived in Westport I guess you could say I took it for granted. But with maturity comes wisdom, and I know I live in a very special part of the world. Both my parents grew up in Westport and those familiar with the town will always remember the business they started, Butler's Colonial Donut Shop, which is still talked about even today.
My husband and I enjoy our home located on the East branch of the Westport River. It was a great place to raise our two children, one of whom also lives in town, which enables me to enjoy seeing my two grandsons. My love for gardening brought me to a meeting of the Westport River Gardeners. I was hooked and eventually served as President. A small group of us also formed a walking group which has allowed us to enjoy the many beautiful walking trails and conservation areas here in town and in nearby communities.
As a child my favorite ornament to hang on the Christmas tree was this tiny silver house with a red roof. That had to be a sign that real estate would be in my blood. I enjoy all aspects of the business from working with sellers and buyers, to preparing a property for market, to researching, to negotiating, and to working on estate sales. There is great satisfaction in helping someone find a home that is right for them, as well as selling a family home to someone who will love that home and make it their own. Armed with local knowledge, experience, and integrity I have the tools to provide as smooth a transaction as possible.
