We could not have been more fortunate than to have had Karen Occhialini as our realtor when we decided to relocate to Rhode Island. Her knowledge of the area is thorough. She has incredible integrity and was sensitive to what we were looking for, but also opened our minds to other creative possibilities as listings came up. She was never pushy and she saw us through a near buy that in the end we said no to. Throughout that process she was patient, never judgmental, and always positive. In the end, we bought a fixer upper and through her amazing network of contacts, she helped us find a wonderful contractor. She continues to be a source or recommendations for anything from restaurants to service needs to whatever, and we consider her a valued friend. We cannot recommend Karen enough as a realtor. She is first-rate in every way!!!

I'm not a client. I struggled, 3 years trying to find a contractor who could handle A pretty serious job of resurfacing a pool patio, a huge job. I started to call realtors to see if they had anyone, they could suggest. Two flat outTold me they wouldn't connect me with any service people if I wasn't a client. Karen got on the phones and connected me with an excellent contractor from out of state. He and his crew came down and completed the work over about ten days, like I said, big, difficult job. It came out perfect. That was 18 months ago. This week, I discovered a cracked cap on a pipe that had been sealed spraying water in our pool house. It was an incredible mess and had probably been spraying for 2 weeks. I tried calling "emergency plumbers", but the earliest appointment I could get was 4 days away. I remembered Karen and texted her. She gave me the number. Of a contractor who came out that day, spent half a day working on A bigger problem behind the leak and again, did a great job. This is how Karen treats a complete stranger who isn't even a client. That tells me something about her, that's service and compassion are more than tools to turn a profit. Hey, i'm sure she's trying to make a living like everybody else is, but her immediate attention to detail and the needs of a stranger in a difficult spot tell me she is somebody that I should trust and rely on when I do need a realtor.

Buying a home is stressful. Buying a home while pregnant and wanting to be living in that home before the baby arrives makes it worse. That’s where my husband and I found ourselves last year. She was always optimistic and often reminded us (typically when we were out-bid) that our forever home was waiting for us somewhere and we would find it soon.We closed on our new home just 3 short months before our daughter was born.
