We lived in our home for 30 years and as you can imagine had great affection for our home, neighborhood and our lasting memories. When we decided to sell we wanted someone to represent us who understood our sentiment and David Hasslinger was that person. He knew the neighborhood and liked our house! David guided us on what needed to be done to bring our home up to code and we trusted his knowledge as we went forward with the recommendations. David is like a stable captain in the crazy emotional ocean of real estate. He is available, flexible, has a calming personality, is a good negotiator and is a multi-tasker. I was pretty restrictive in what I was looking for, and can be difficult to schedule around, yet David patiently continued to drill deeper and uncover great properties for us. Our Seller was even more difficult yet David also knew exactly how to filter out and navigate through the many hurdles. Equally important for us; he's a fun smart interesting guy to be around ! I've bought over 30 properties in my life, and it's rare to find the whole package that is David Hasslinger....oh yeah, he's also a Glass Blower and my key's reside nightly in a beautiful bowl he made :)

David Hasslinger is amazing to work with. Not only did he help us sell our old house, he also represented us when we purchased our new house. Working with him was a real pleasure. He represented me in a home purchase that closed at the end of June, which involved a very difficult seller who often gave us the runaround. David helped us get a good deal on a house that was highly in demand in the federal hill area. This was my first home purchase, and David made the process very easy--even with the difficult seller. David gave us great referrals for a local lender, fire alarm installer, roofers, general contractors, property manager, attorney, etc. When our transaction closed, David even gave us a beautiful glass nesting bowl to keep our keys in as a closing gift--which he made himself! When we decided to relocate to Providence from Pennsylvania, I called David Hasslinger of Residential Properties to see if he would help us find a house to buy. That was in April. As I write this in July, I am sitting in my new home on the East Side of Providence. Things happened fast! And they also happened smoothly due to David’s experience, expertise and helpful, can-do attitude. He arranged appointments at all of the homes we wanted to see, told us about other homes having open houses, and spent time talking with us so he could understand what we wanted. David’s help with the items of concern on the inspection report was invaluable and just what we needed, as we do not have extensive knowledge of the issues that an old house may have. David also has a good network of referrals for qualified professionals in finance, title work, contracting etc., which we found to be very useful. Last but not least, David paid attention to the details and responded quickly to the questions we asked. In addition to the abovementioned help which you might expect – but don’t always get - from a realtor, David was an absolute pleasure to work with! He was unfailingly cheerful, enthusiastic and upbeat during the whole process. We've bought & sold real estate on six occasions in three countries over the past 14 years - so we feel reasonably experienced with the process (and how that process differs in different countries) and confident in what we're looking for house-wise at any given point. David literally responded within minutes of our inquiring about the first property we looked at; followed up the next day in a professional, down-to-earth, friendly manner, and was quick to make arrangements and respond to requests via phone, email or text. We would use David to buy or sell again. He has just the right personality for working in the industry alongside knowledge and experience. And, he's just a nice guy, too. We couldn’t ask for a better partner in helping us find our first home. Foremost, David is responsive and quick. On a whim, we went to an open house one weekend - not really full in on the house hunt yet. We ended up loving the house, and, at the selling agent’s direction - needed to put in an offer ASAP. We called up David out of nowhere on a late Sunday afternoon - we had met him a year prior but hadn’t yet engaged him officially. David didn’t hesitate to throw himself into the process, patiently providing us direction, options (never pushing us out of our comfort zone), and getting the selling agent to wait until our offer was proposed. We ended up not getting that house, but we knew we wanted to stick with David. The market was very competitive during our house buying time, and David was on it. He’d send us houses before they were available online - so we were always one of the first in to see houses. He was very flexible with our schedules. He was very positive - a refreshing dose of warmth and friendliness. But also honest and candid - which we needed. David is a reliable, jovial real estate agent and his priority is making sure all of his customer's needs are met. He was quick to respond to inquiries, and set up showings in an order that was convenient and manageable. He even lent a hand with entertaining our baby daughter so we could focus on looking around at the house that we ended up buying!
